Green transition

The Mayflower wind farmwill create enough power to over half a million households and be able to generate 1,600 megawatts (MW) of green energy. The project is expected to be ready and deliver energy from 2025. Once in operation, the project will provide enough electricity to power approximately half a million homes in the state of Massachusetts and eliminate 1.7 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

Services provided by ISC

ISC has performed both initial and final layout and detailed engineering for the Mayflower offshore substation both the topside and the jacket. As sub-contractor to Bladt Industries, ISC will perform the engineering design works together with Semco Maritime and the US partner WSP adding WSP’s expertise in U.S. offshore wind permitting and engineering to the team

The offshore substation will consist of a topside of 4.400 tons and 3.000 tons jacket foundation.

General description of the project

The Mayflower Wind Farm will be located approximately 40 km south of Nantucket in Massachusetts US.
