Our involvement
We have done detailed design of the topside for Northwind Offshore Wind Farm. The substation has a capacity of 216 MW and weighs 1200 tons. The water depth is app. 20 m and the foundation is a monopile jacket.
The 14 km2 offshore wind farm comprised of 72 wind turbines of each 3 MW is placed 37 km from shore.
It is owned by Northwind Offshore Energy and the topside is being built by Bladt Industries A/S.
