The drilling rigs were delivered from shipyards in the Far East and transported to Norway for start-up for the installation of company equipment.
Consultant Role
- Design review and optimization of decoration design at yard, saving more than 100mT steel for a rig
- Design of mounting of steel and hull reinforcement to support Company equipment
- Site survey during fabrication at shipyard
- Monitoring of the site during start-up in Norway
- Certification packages for changes during start-up for DNV-GL verification
