Sustainable transition

The Vineyard Offshore Wind Farm will generate sustainably energy to power around 400.000 households in Massachusetts. Furthermore, the Vineyard Wind Farm will reduce carbon emissions by over 1.6 million tons per year.

Detailed Design

We have been in charge of the detailed design of the topside and the jacket of the substation. The topside weight is 3040 tons and the weight of the jacket is 2000 tons. The substation will be able to generate 800 MW and the substation is located at a water depth of 38.3 meters.

General description of the project

The project is expected to be finished in 2022 and is located in US waters. To be more specific, the wind farm is located in the state of Massachusetts around 15 miles from the shore. ISC has been in charge of the full detailed engineering of the substation.
